Wuskwatim Generating Station

The Wuskwatim Generating Station project was comprised of the concrete supply and placement for the spillway, service bay, intake and powerhouse structures, as well as construction of the main dam and all remaining excavation required for the principal structures. As a member of the project consortium, H.J. O’Connell, a division of Bird, provided world class construction services to the Wuskwatim Generating Station in concert with the utmost respect for the environment and the achievement of meaningful training and long-term benefits to the people of the area.
